A Different Kind of Small Town Church
It's good to be back! TEC went well and all involved are recovering from sleep deprivation. This weeks message should prove to be one of great value in our personal lives. Christ has called His followers to live in peace with one another. That sounds like a good idea, but we fail so many times. Why does this happen? Some may say it is because we let issues divide us, but James has another answer. I encourage you to read James 4:1-10 during this week and I look forward to seeing each of you for worship this coming Sunday.

NEWS!!!
We want to keep you current on the most important dates coming in the near future. For the month of July, the following will be of key interest to you and your family:
There will be a congregational vote on Sunday morning, July 12th, following the morning service. This vote will be related to the addition of a statement on baptism to be added to the doctrinal section of the constitution and bylaws. This statements wording will be posted at the church next week and will also be mailed to all members. Please review this statement carefully in light of the Scripture and feel free to bring any questions to Pastor Jeff or the Leadership Team prior to this vote.
Victoria Volkman will be ministering both to us and with us the week of July 13th through the 19th. This will begin with a three night seminar on studying the Bible for truth and impact Wednesday through Friday the 15th through the 17th. If you are a Children's Worker, Small Group Leader or a Bible Study Leader this is a must attend series. She will be ministering with us during our Church Work Day Saturday, July 18th, beginning at 8 am. Finally, she will give a brief overview and update on her work in the field during our Sunday Morning Service on the 19th.
If you have younger children at home, please be sure to sign them up for Community Wide Vacation Bible School. This event will take place from sunday, July 19th through Thursday July 23rd. Sign-up is in the back of the church, or email Tyler to get them signed up. Ages for Bible School are 4 years old to 6th grade. We are also looking for volunteers to help with the pre-school portion of the Bible School.
